Simply Peach Shawl

I was asked to make a shawl for a friend's grandmother, all she asked was that it be primarily pastel in color, this is what I came up with.

Materials:
crochet hook size I
darning needle
Caron Simply Soft:
4 skeins light country peach (CA)
1 skein persimmon (CB)
NOTE: This pattern starts at the center top of the shawl,
weave in ends as work progresses.

With CA, Ch 6

Row 1: 2dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 1 skip 1 ch, 3 dc in last ch, ch 3, turn.

Row 2: 2 dc in first dc, ch 1; In next ch-1 space work 3dc ch 1 3dc; ch 1, 3dc in top of turning ch, ch 3, turn.

Row 3: 2dc in first dc, ch 1; 3 dc in next ch-1 space (this creates a shell), in center ch-1 space work 3dc ch 1 3dc (this creates a center increase), ch 1, 1 shell in next space, ch 1, 1 shell in turning ch, ch 3, turn.

Row 4: With turning-ch as first dc, work work 2 more dc in in first dc; ch 1, work shell in each ch-1 space across to center, center icrease in center, ch 1 work shell across, ch 1, 3dc in last dc, ch 3, turn.

Repeat row 4, until there are 45 rows counting from center, finish off, color A.

With CB, join with a dc in top of turning ch, 2dc in same st, repeat row 4, finish off.
Repeat, alternating CA and CB until 5 rows of CB are finished.
Repeat with 2 rows of CA.

Fringe: Cut 3 14 inch strands of CB, fold in half, draw fold through space at center point, draw ends through loop and tighten. Repeat fringe in each ch-1 sp of bottom edges. Trim as necessary.
